Packing well makes your Umrah smoother so you can focus on worship. Here's a practical checklist tailored to UK travellers.
Documents & essentials
Passport (valid 6+ months), visa confirmation, flight and hotel details, travel insurance, and a few passport photos. Keep digital copies in your phone and email.
Ihram & clothing
Men: two sets of ihram and a belt. Women: comfortable modest clothing. For everyone: breathable layers, comfortable sandals/shoes, and a light jacket for air-conditioned spaces and cooler evenings.
Health & comfort
Any regular medication, a small first-aid kit, unscented toiletries (scented products are avoided in ihram), a refillable water bottle, a foldable bag for your shoes during Tawaf, and a small prayer mat.
Handy extras
A power bank, UK-to-Saudi plug adapter, a Saudi eSIM or roaming plan, and a small amount of local currency for incidentals.
